Job Posting Educational Assistant Permanent Part-Time (0.917 FTE/ 5.5 hours per day) Swift Current Comprehensive High School Competition #4120 The Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. Start Date: August 26, 2026 or as soon as possible after Qualifications: Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset Ability and experience in working with children Physical ability to work with active students Lifting may be required Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment A positive and flexible attitude to change Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan Benefits: Defined Benefit Pension Plan Employee benefit package Positive work environment Pay range: $20.27 to $27.10 Applications must be submitted prior to 12:00 p.m. on August 23, 2026.
