The successful candidate must be enrolled in, or willing to enroll in, and successfully complete the MEARIE Electrical Operator certification program, including all required training and hours. Upon completion, the individual will be recognized as a certified journeyperson.

This is an on-site, unionized position based at 1340 Brant Street, Burlington, governed by the applicable collective agreement. • Work in compliance with all safe work practices, rules, and regulations as set out by Burlington Hydro, the Ministry of Labour, and IHSA
  • All other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness and ability to work on a rotating 24/7 shift schedule, 365 days of the year, and to be readily available for on-call and emergency duties, with the ability to arrive on-site within one hour of being called
