Job description
Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Integration Software Engineer to maintain and enhance integration platforms using Azure, BizTalk, .NET, APIs, and Azure DevOps
Join a public sector organization supporting enterprise integration platforms within a Microsoft ecosystem. This role focuses on integration software engineering across Azure, BizTalk, .NET, APIs, and DevOps in support of critical platform services. The engagement includes hands-on engineering, platform enhancement, infrastructure automation, and integration architecture activities within a hybrid Azure and on-premises environment.
1 year contract, % Remote, Working Hours: EST
Must Haves
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering including 4+ years in integration platform engineering
- 5+ years building integration technologies including APIs
- 5+ years of expert-level experience with Azure integrations, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps
- 4+ years authoring enterprise-grade Terraform or Bicep modules and 4+ years in DevSecOps using Git and GitHub Flow
- Eligibility to obtain Reliability Status clearance
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications
- Experience with C#, BizTalk, and service-oriented architecture
- Experience with hybrid Azure and on-premises integrations
- Experience using draw.io, Postman Enterprise, Azure Storage Explorer, and GitHub Copilot
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence within integration software engineering
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance integration platforms
- Design, develop, and integrate information systems and integration platform technologies
- Advise on optimal platform usage and platform capability enhancements
- Review system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts related to APIs, event services, integration patterns, and DevOps
- Develop standards and processes for coding, deployment, testing, and governance
- Analyze and resolve complex technical support issues including solution lifecycle management
- Ensure the security, performance, and availability of platforms and services
