Job Summary
Do you love to cook? Are you passionate about food? We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Cook to help bring recipes to life while showcasing creativity and culinary skills. Working with fresh ingredients and professional kitchen equipment, you will prepare high-quality meals while exploring a variety of cuisines, flavors, and cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared, handled, stored, and served in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory control as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Cook or in a related culinary role is required.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
This position may require:
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.
• Wearing required uniforms and/or PPE.
Schedule
• Full-time position
• Schedule may vary week to week based on operational requirements.
Screening Requirements
• Criminal Record Check required in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) is required.
Interview Process
• In-person interview required.
• Candidates must submit a resume for review.
• Preference will be given to experienced Cook candidates.
Work Attire
• Non-slip shoes are required.
• Dark-colored clothing preferred.
• Chef uniform may be worn if available.
