Service Manager – Heavy Vehicle Industry

Tasks

• Oversee the complete management of the service department.
• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the shop.
• Lead, coach, and support technicians in their duties.
• Maximize team productivity while maintaining cost control.
• Monitor service requests and incoming calls.
• Open, track, and close work orders.
• Explain completed repairs, recommendations, and costs to customers.
• Review and validate labor hours for billing purposes.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Work closely with the sales and parts departments.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Manage quotations, orders, and supplier relationships.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

• Experience in personnel management or team coordination.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong ability to manage priorities and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of the agricultural or mechanical field (strong asset).
• Functional English for occasional communication with certain suppliers (approximately 5% of the time).
