Adecco is currently hiring an
ICS Technician for a full-time opportunity in Slemon Park, PEI. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual interested in working within the aerospace industry and contributing to the repair and overhaul of critical aircraft engine components.
In this position, you will repair and overhaul fuel controls and fuel accessories for aircraft engines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also support the safe and efficient operation of your work area and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Location: Slemon Park, PEI
- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary
Responsibilities- Repair and overhaul fuel controls and fuel accessories used in aircraft engines.
- Perform assigned work in accordance with established quality and safety requirements.
- Ensure completed repairs and overhauls meet required quality standards before being provided to customers.
- Maintain responsibility for the organization, safety, and efficient operation of the assigned work area.
- Follow established procedures and requirements within a controlled goods program environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, efficiency, and quality.
- Analyze technical information and concepts to support repair and overhaul activities.
- Identify key details and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members while also being capable of working independently.
- Communicate information clearly with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that support improvements within the work environment.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearances.
- Must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
- Technical College Diploma in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or hydro-mechanical technology is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a technical aerospace role or similar technical environment is considered an asset.
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to analyze information and technical concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good coordination, motor skills, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to identify and focus on key technical details.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work independently when required.
- Experience coaching or mentoring others is considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Creative thinking and idea-generation skills are considered assets.
