Machine Operator for our client in Whitby, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or industrial experience who enjoy working with machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
You will operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, perform quality inspections, assist with production activities, and support daily operations within a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Pay Rate: $22.62/hour + 50 cent premium on afternoons
- Location: Whitby, ON
- Shift (Two-Week Rotation): Monday to Friday | Days: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM | Afternoons: 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:Machine Operation- Operate CNC machines, punch presses, saws, robotic cells, and other manufacturing equipment
- Perform machine setups and basic preventative maintenance activities
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
- Monitor production processes to meet quality and productivity standards
Production Support- Assist with assembly and packaging activities
- Support other machine operators and production team members as required
- Assist with weld cleaning and other production-related tasks
- Maintain production flow to meet daily targets
Quality Control- Perform required quality inspections and checks according to work instructions
- Record inspection results accurately
- Use measuring tools and equipment to ensure product quality and compliance
- Report defects or production concerns promptly
Safety & Housekeeping- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and tools
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications and Skills:- Previous experience in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or production environment
- Experience operating machinery and using hand and power tools
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
- Ability to accurately use a measuring tape and basic measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating day and afternoon shifts
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
