  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to assigned projects.
  • Create weekly schedules, assign tasks, and organize program activities and events.

Community & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with community agencies, service providers, and local partners across Mississauga.
  • Support engagement with priority populations, including newcomers and equity-deserving communities.
  • Assist with outreach, communication, and coordination for community events and large-scale initiatives.

Participant & Service Support

  • Assist participants and community members in accessing program services and supports.
  • Respond to participant needs with sensitivity, professionalism, and a client-centred approach.
  • Support orientation sessions, presentations, workshops, and team meetings.

Administration, Data & Reporting

  • Track attendance, activities, outputs, and outcomes across projects.
  • Collect, maintain, and submit accurate program data and reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Monitor staff and facilitator hours, schedules, and related documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support, including documentation, coordination, and follow-up.

Other

  • Support planning and dissemination of program information and materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support program and organizational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE):
  • Degree or diploma in community development, social services, project management, social work, health promotion, office administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a non-profit, community health, or social services setting.
  • Experience working with priority or equity-deserving communities, including newcomers.
  • Strong client-service orientation, with the ability to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting presentations or group sessions.
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using data-tracking tools.
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Cultural humility and sensitivity to diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
