The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and advancing GardaWorld Canada's business intelligence capabilities by transforming data into meaningful insights that drive business performance.

Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT and Commercial Strategy, this role designs and delivers scalable reporting solutions that provide a comprehensive view of commercial and operational performance across Canada. Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst translates business needs into dashboards, performance metrics and actionable insights that support informed decision-making, improve business results and foster a data-driven culture

What Your Days Will Look Like

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Integrate data from multiple business systems and sources into scalable, reliable and user-friendly reporting.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks that measure commercial, operational and financial performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency and governance across business intelligence solutions.

Business Performance & Insights

• Partner with business leaders to understand reporting requirements, business drivers and performance objectives.
• Analyze sales, operational and financial performance to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that improve sales performance, win rates, revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Support executive business reviews, forecasting and strategic planning.

Business Partnership & Data Enablement

• Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales Directors, Vice Presidents and functional leaders.
• Translate business requirements into practical reporting and analytical solutions.
• Promote data literacy by training and supporting users on dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools.
• Drive adoption of business intelligence solutions and reporting best practices.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation and analytical capabilities using Power BI, Excel, Python, SQL and other technologies.
• Support the evolution of GardaWorld's business intelligence ecosystem and reporting standards.
• Recommend innovative approaches that improve visibility, decision-making and business performance.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Experience

• 7–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Sales Operations or Performance Management.
• Proven experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of sales, operational and financial performance metrics.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and working within CRM and ERP environments.
• Experience presenting analytical insights and recommendations to senior business leaders.

Technical Competencies

• Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas)
• Data modeling, transformation and visualization
• SQL, Python or similar analytical tools
• Data integration across multiple business systems
• CRM and ERP reporting environments
