We are looking for an experienced SAP LE/WM Consultant to support logistics and warehouse operations for a client in Markham, Ontario. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a consultant who can translate business needs into practical SAP solutions while working across complex supply chain processes. The role requires strong functional expertise, clear documentation skills, and the ability to contribute effectively in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse business processes related to logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping to identify functional improvements within SAP LE and WM.
• Configure and support SAP ECC6 and/or S/4HANA solutions to meet operational requirements across warehouse and distribution activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify process needs, and convert business expectations into well-structured functional specifications.
• Lead or support project delivery activities by coordinating timelines, priorities, testing, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on complex warehouse workflows such as picking, storage, batch-controlled materials, and outbound movement of goods.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure integrations, custom developments, and related system components align with business objectives.
• Contribute subject matter expertise for industry-specific logistics considerations, including material lengths, drum handling, and batch management where applicable.
• Assist with documentation, validation, and process optimization efforts to improve system usability, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP or CRM consulting, with at least 4 years focused on SAP Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory movements, storage processes, picking, and shipping activities.
• Proven ability to manage project responsibilities effectively and work across multiple stakeholders in complex delivery settings.
• Experience preparing clear business and functional documentation, including structured specifications and requirement-related materials.
• Familiarity with technologies and platforms such as Microsoft tools, JavaScript, cloud-based environments, or workflow solutions is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of cable industry operations, including drum tracking, material length management, and batch-controlled processes, would be advantageous.
