Project Manager - Marketing Operations

Cella by Randstad Digital is partnering with a prominent industry leader to recruit an experienced Project Manager, Marketing Operations for a high-impact contract opportunity. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives across brand, content, digital, CRM, web, analytics, and research teams.

This position offers a unique chance to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery by helping to shape and establish a new Marketing PMO while orchestrating multi-channel projects from concept to execution.

Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:

communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis and cover a territory that spans beyond Quebec and which requires communication with customers and clients who do not speak French

Responsibilities
PMO Establishment: Contribute to defining standards, governance practices, and planning frameworks for a growing Marketing PMO.

End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage cross-functional projects across brand, digital, CRM, web, analytics, and research from intake and scoping through launch and retrospectives.

Governance & Alignment: Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish clear decision-making forums, RACI matrices, escalation paths, and operational rhythms.

Executive Reporting: Develop clear, executive-ready presentations, status reports, and portfolio dashboards to support strategic decision-making and prioritization.

Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, navigate, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in a fast-paced environment.

Technology & Process Optimization: Evaluate and support the implementation of modern project management tools and methodologies to enhance team collaboration and execution.

Change Enablement: Facilitate change management practices to drive smooth adoption of new workflows and operational standards across teams.

Qualifications
Professional Background: Demonstrated track record leading complex, multi-channel initiatives within marketing, digital, or martech environments.

Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in both English and French (required).

Strategic Execution: Strong mastery of project management fundamentals, including scope control, milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and delivery discipline.

Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to align, influence, and present to cross-functional leaders without direct reporting authority.

Operational Expertise: Experience with process optimization, workflow design, and operational frameworks.

Adaptability: Highly autonomous, proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and foster positive collaboration.

Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with modern enterprise project management software and tracking tools.

Assets (Nice to Have)
Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile (e.g., CSM, SAFe), or equivalent credentials.

Experience with Program Increment (PI) planning frameworks.

Prior experience supporting PMO operating models, business operations, or large-scale organizational transformations.
