As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You’ll bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. Qualifications and additional information: Required subject qualifications: Intermediate Visual Arts FTE: 0.5 for PM only for one semester Grade(s)/assignment: grade 9 Tentative course codes (if known): AVI 1O1 Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standingSecondary LTO Salary Range: $57,986 to $119,967/year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro-rated based on the position FTE).
