Job description
Are you a dynamic young construction professional looking for an exciting opportunity to propel your career forward on Montreal’s South Shore? We are currently seeking a motivated and sharp construction project coordinator to join an ambitious construction site team in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

As a construction project coordinator, you will play a vital strategic and operational support role essential to the smooth execution of site operations. Based 100% directly on-site, your daily routine will center on close and continuous collaboration with the project manager and the general superintendent. This position is the ideal springboard for a candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience with a general contractor who wants to consolidate their technical and administrative expertise on large-scale projects, such as multi-residential towers and senior living residences (RPA) featuring concrete structures. Within the scope of industrial management, you will actively contribute to the success of major real estate developments valued at tens of millions of dollars.

The construction sector in Quebec requires fluent, clear, and rigorous communication with all stakeholders on the ground, from sub-contractors to engineers. Full proficiency in French is essential to effectively manage technical documentation, draft progress reports, and handle daily site communications.

On a daily basis, the construction project coordinator will act as the key liaison between the site trailer and field operations. In this industrial management role, your core responsibilities will include tracking Requests for Information (RFIs), handling change orders, updating administrative and technical plans, and controlling material deliveries. Your 100% on-site presence will allow you to track concrete pours and interior finishing progress in real time, ensuring that sub-contractors adhere to quality standards and project schedules. If you are known for your resourcefulness, team spirit, and attention to detail, this construction project coordinator opportunity in industrial management is the ideal path to achieve your professional ambitions.

Advantages
• Highly competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, based on experience and profile.
• Attractive flat-rate project bonus (approximately $10,000 per project cycle).
• Comprehensive group insurance package starting upon hire and access to telemedicine services.
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and corporate discount perks.
• Paid annual vacation under CCQ standards, sick leave, and family obligation days.
• Free on-site parking and participation in engaging team events.

Responsibilities
• Assist the project manager and superintendent in the day-to-day management of administrative and technical site activities.
• Track and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), site instructions, and change order notices.
• Coordinate sub-contractors in the field and ensure compliance with execution schedules and assembly plans.
• Maintain up-to-date logs for plans, specifications, and technical submittals using construction management software.
• Monitor orders and material deliveries to prevent delays in concrete pouring and finishing sequences.
• Attend site meetings, draft minutes, and distribute meeting notes to relevant project stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing project closeout documents, maintenance manuals, and deficiency punch lists.

Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and exemplary rigor in handling technical project documentation.
• Excellent teamwork ability, interpersonal skills, and effective communication with site personnel.
• Adaptability and strong stress management skills in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in construction project management software such as Autodesk Build (PlanGrid), MS Project, and Excel.
• Practical knowledge of concrete structure execution stages and multi-residential finishing phases.

• Diploma/degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant project coordination experience working for a general contractor.
• Practical experience or solid familiarity with multi-story concrete structure construction sites.
• Requirement to work 100% in person on the construction site located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for site-related travel as needed.
