Team Overview:

The Canadian Critical Minerals Accelerator (CCMA) is a first-of-its-kind investment tool designed to accelerate Canadian critical mineral projects across the value chain, from extraction to processing, by helping crowd-in private capital, reduce risk for strategically important projects, and strengthen Canada’s economic and supply chain security. Internal EDC critical minerals materials also position the CCMA as a tool that enables EDC to structure solutions that support strategically important projects for Canada’s economy and supply chains, including through investment tools such as equity investments, debt instruments and offtake agreements.

What you will be doing:

As the CCMA Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the team. You'll help keep activities organized, processes running smoothly, and ensure leaders and team members have the administrative support they need to be successful.

In this role, you will:

· Coordinate meetings, events, and team activities, managing logistics, materials, and follow-up actions. These meetings will be complex in nature, often involving high-ranking government officials and external partners.

· Capture meeting outcomes and drive follow-up, including coordinating with relevant external parties.

· Obtain a deep understanding of the CCMA program to aid with briefing notes, correspondence, creation of presentations and other communication materials.

· Monitor and analyze budgets.

· Manage procurement processes for engagement of third-party service providers.

· Provide general administrative support to leaders and team members, including calendar management, expense processing, and other day-to-day operational activities.

· Monitor priorities, deadlines, and action items to help keep work on track and stakeholders informed.

· Maintain team records, documentation, collaboration sites, and shared resources, while supporting onboarding, offboarding, and reporting activities.

· Support projects and initiatives by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and helping deliver on key objectives.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working while building strong relationships with colleagues and partners across the organization.

· This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys supporting a dynamic team environment.

What we are looking for:

· Completion of secondary school and a minimum of five years of administrative or clerical experience, including experience supporting senior leaders.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

· Strong calendar management and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

· Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

· Comfortable learning and using new technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools, to enhance productivity and team effectiveness.

· Fully bilingual in French and English.

What will make you stand out:

· Completion of post-secondary education (college diploma or undergraduate degree).

· Experience supporting complex teams, projects, or multiple leaders in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrated initiative in identifying opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and team effectiveness.
