About the Role Sago Mini is seeking a Freelancer Graphic Designer - Marketing with motion graphic and video editing experience to help create on brand marketing assets for our products.

Sago Mini develops ground-breaking playful learning product that puts kids at the centre of the experience.

As a Freelance Graphic Designer in Marketing, you will be involved in helping showcase this work in it’s best light, and working with the marketing team to craft creatives that center kids and play.

This is a junior/intermediate position suitable for candidates with 1+ years of related experience. This is a remote position; while virtual meetings may be required, no in-office attendance is mandatory.

• The anticipated salary range for this role is $ 55 to $75 per hour.

The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. This job posting is tied to an open vacancy.

• You’ll thrive in this role if you… Have a great eye for detail and composition Can work collaboratively across teams with project managers and art directors, but work well independently Are experienced working with brand guidelines Have a high standard for visual execution while also understanding importance of meeting deadlines Have a strong understanding of typography and a knack for beautifully executing concepts What You’ll Be Doing Editing photos and videos for paid and organic channels Creating graphics and new design layouts Working within product brand guidelines and templates Working with and across teams and internal stakeholders to execute creatively Perform other design related tasks as needed Qualifications and Skills Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience creating visual assets for digital media Strong background and skillset in video and photo editing Impeccable attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Strong graphic design and layout skills Strong proficiency and experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects. Strong communication skills Experience with motion graphic design and/or 2D animation experience an asset A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency Experience working with creative briefs and understanding project demands Comfortable taking art direction and incorporating feedback into deliverables Ability to be flexible and work on a variety of different projects Nice to Haves Proficiency with Figma Experience with App related assets and platforms About the Process You’ll get an email response confirming we’ve received your application, and we’ll let you know within a few weeks if we’d like to schedule a follow-up.
