Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for our client in Surrey, BC.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and skilled in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring the efficient movement of products throughout the facility.

• Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
  
• Location: Surrey, BC
  
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving

• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trailers
  
• Accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
  
• Complete required shipping and receiving documentation
  
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  
• Report inventory discrepancies and shipping issues promptly
  

Forklift Operations

• Safely operate both Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklifts
  
• Move products and materials throughout the warehouse efficiently
  
• Adhere to all equipment safety procedures and company policies
  
• Conduct equipment inspections and report any concerns
  

Inventory & Quality Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the AS400 system
  
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards
  
• Support inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
  
• Assist with stock management and material handling activities
  

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  
• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
  
• Support general warehouse functions as required
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Reach Truck Forklift Certification
  
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification
  
• Current First Aid Certification
  
• Previous shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
  
• Experience using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties
  
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
