Order Picking / Counterbalance Operator

Our client, a growing food brokerage in Oakville, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive environment where teamwork is valued, hard work is recognized, and opportunities for growth are available.

This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential. The starting wage is $20.00/hour, with a pay increase available upon direct hire.

Location: Oakville, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming products, stocking inventory, order picking, packaging, palletizing, and labeling products for shipment. You will also operate a Counterbalance forklift and assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.

What we’re looking for:
– Valid Counterbalance forklift license with previous operating experience
– Experience with order picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping/receiving
– Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems
– Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
– Reliable transportation to and from work
– Positive attitude and willingness to learn
– Team player who enjoys helping others and contributing to a strong team environment
