Full-Time Nanny – Okotoks, Alberta We are a young family in Okotoks, Alberta, seeking a reliable, nurturing, and responsible nanny to care for our 1.5-year-old child on a full-time basis beginning September 2026. This is a live-out position, working from our home Monday through Friday. About the Role We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and can provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for our child. The ideal candidate will be energetic, dependable, patient, and comfortable creating age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, development, and play. The position would be approximately 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Responsibilities will include: * Providing attentive, loving care and supervision for our toddler * Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, play, reading, crafts, and outdoor time * Supporting our child's daily routine, including meals, naps, and activities * Preparing simple meals and snacks for our child * Keeping the child's play areas, bedroom, and common areas clean, tidy, and organized * Cleaning up after meals, activities, and playtime * Children's laundry and putting away children's clothing and belongings * Light housekeeping duties that are typical of a nanny role and related to the care of our child * Helping maintain a generally tidy household throughout the day * Providing occasional light pet care for our friendly older Golden Retriever, primarily letting him into the backyard when needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: * Have previous experience caring for toddlers * Be warm, patient, nurturing, and attentive * Be reliable and dependable * Enjoy playing with and engaging young children * Be comfortable taking our child outside for walks and activities * Have strong communication skills * Be comfortable working independently in our home * Have a genuine interest in becoming a trusted and valued part of our family's routine If you are interested in the position and feel you would be a good fit for our family, please send us a message telling us a little about yourself and your childcare experience.
