About The Role

Customerization is and Ontario based IT company building business systems — from Zoho CRM/ERP implementations to fully custom solutions — for clients ranging from 30 to 1,000 employees. We are looking to fill a combined 'Business Analyst & Project Manager' role: you'll gather client requirements and design optimal tech solutions, and plan and lead delivery through to launch.

What You'll Do

Business Analysis

  • Understand and analyze client business processes, available resources, documentation, and more
  • Gather and document requirements through workshops, and structured discovery sessions
  • Design technology solutions in collaboration with our technical/dev team — spanning Zoho CRM, ERP, custom-built applications, and integrations
  • Support technical pre-sales: run solution demos, contribute to proposals
  • Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact throughout engagements

Project Delivery

  • Define project scope, budget, phases
  • Groom tasks and manage concurrent projects in the PM software
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, progress, quality, and risks across multiple concurrent projects
  • Lead developers and system configurators day-to-day
  • Configure, customize, or develop solutions on your own, where reasonable
  • Client communications
  • Produce clear technical and business documentation
  • Test and validate delivered solutions
  • Build training materials and run client training sessions

Requirements

Must-haves

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field — you need to understand tech and dev fundamentals, not just the business side
  • Experience implementing business applications (CRM, ERP, or similar) — including business process mapping and data modeling
  • Strong project management track record — planning, running teams, managing scope/timeline/risk
  • Direct, hands-on experience running client workshops and requirements-gathering sessions
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Comfortable working with and directing AI-assisted development, or genuinely curious and quick to pick it up

Nice to have

  • Zoho experience specifically

Requirements
Zoho Platform Expertise: In-depth expertise in Zoho One applications such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Forms, Zoho Flow, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Books, Zoho Billing, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Desk, Zoho Projects, Zoho Creator, Zoho Analytics, etc.. Deep knowledge of Zoho One platform architecture, capabilities and limits. Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Zoho applications. Configuration skills: Ability to create and customize data structure including modules, custom fields, layouts, relationships, related lists, etc.. Proficiency in using pipelines, blueprints, workflow rules, kiosks, custom functions, assignment rules, validation rules, approval processes. Configure and integrate Zoho Forms, CRM Forms, Surveys, design email templates. Configure integrations across multiple Zoho apps. Create custom reports, filter data, and visualize key metrics using dashboards in Zoho One apps. Setup connectors and addons for Zoho apps, 3rd party apps and external services. Customization skills: Proficiency in scripting using Deluge, Client Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON. Proficiency in SQL, ability to create complex queries. Familiarity with database design and relational database principles. Experience in building Zoho widgets and extensions. Experience in developing custom applications using Zoho Creator. Experience in utilizing Zoho REST APIs within Zoho solution. Proficiency in development process: coding conventions and standards, source and version control, deployment, documentation. Familiarity with development tools like: VS Code, DevOps tools, etc. Integration: Experience with integrating Zoho applications with other platforms using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, SFTP file exchange. Ability to define the integration scope and mapping, log and reconciliation tools before the implementation. Testing and debugging integrations. Familiarity with integration dev/test tools like Postman. Data Migration: Experience in migrating data to Zoho applications using built-in data import tools. Familiarity with excel/spreadsheet tools for data cleansing and data transformation. Experience in migration data using Zoho APIs considering the system limits. Ability to define the data migration sizing, scope, mapping, error handling before the actual data load. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for Zoho implementations, configurations, and customizations. Soft skills: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members: project managers, developers, and consultants. Communication skills to understand requirements and effectively communicate solutions. Self learning skills to keep up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Zoho suite. Experience in managing and tracking personal tasks, including timelines and deliverables. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects in an intense environment. Certifications: Zoho certifications.
