As a senior technical contributor, you will lead complex hardware development projects from concept through production. You will make key technical decisions, solve challenging hardware problems, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

You will work closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality electronic products and help shape future hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex electronic hardware solutions.
  • Define hardware architectures, design approaches, component selection strategies, and technical solutions.
  • Own critical hardware subsystems throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept through production release.
  • Lead schematic design, PCB development, hardware validation, board bring-up, and debugging.
  • Analyze complex hardware issues, lead root-cause investigations, and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Develop hardware validation and testing strategies to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership during design reviews and key engineering decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams.
  • Manage technical relationships with suppliers and external development partners.
  • Support product certification, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing-transfer activities.
  • Mentor junior hardware engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing hardware platforms.
  • Contribute to long-term hardware strategy, technology roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and embedded hardware development.
  • Proven experience leading complex electronic product development from concept through production.
  • Experience working in product-based environments such as consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial automation, aerospace, or similar industries.
Technical Skills
  • Expert knowledge of electronic circuit design and embedded hardware architecture.
  • Extensive experience with schematic capture, PCB development, hardware validation, debugging, and board bring-up.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, power management, and hardware/software integration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex hardware development projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing transfer, supplier collaboration, and product certification processes.
  • Experience with electronic design tools such as Altium is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and product lifecycle best practices.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong technical leadership and sound engineering judgment.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced product development environment.
Language Requirements
  • French is required. Candidates must be comfortable reading, writing, and communicating in French in a professional engineering environment.
  • Native or fluent French is not required, but professional working proficiency is expected.
