Sr. Copywriter

As a Senior Copywriter, your blend of creative strategy and persuasive messaging will resonate with mid- to senior-level business audiences, including C-suite executives, institutional investors, and key industry leaders across sectors like agribusiness, energy, technology, and mining. Working in a hybrid capacity (36.25 hours/week with occasional onsite team meetings in Calgary or Edmonton), you will craft compelling campaigns that communicate sophisticated business offerings. Daily responsibilities span deep-focus writing, strategic ideation, coaching, managing video and audio shoots, and presenting high-level creative concepts to key stakeholders.

Creative Strategy & Ideation: Participate in cross-channel campaign strategy development; use testing and analytics to refine concepts; partner with Art Directors to generate multi-channel messaging.

Copywriting & Asset Creation: Write headlines, web copy, email sequences, digital ads, video/radio scripts, conference materials, and client success stories.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing and digital strategists to optimize the conversion funnel; work with content marketing and media teams to script and produce video/audio assets.

Creative Guidance: Direct and provide constructive feedback to internal and external partners, including freelance copywriters, producers, and creative vendors.

Brand Ambassadorship: Champion and maintain brand voice across all deliverables while representing the Creative Center of Excellence within the squad.

Qualifications
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting and creative strategy experience (preferably targeting B2B, corporate, or institutional audiences).

Core Skills: Advanced writing, editing, proofreading, and concept development abilities; strong pitching and presentation skills.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills (Level 4) with a team-first mindset and proven experience giving/receiving constructive feedback.

Project & Workload Management: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet firm deadlines.
