Job description
Job Title: General Laborer - ManufacturingLocation: St. Isidore, On Work Type: Long Term – 9.00pm - 7.30am Monday to ThursdaySalary: $23.27 hourly to start.Vacancy: Existing vacancyOur client, a well-established production facility serving growers and consumers, is known for maintaining efficient operations and high safety standards. We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join their team.What you will do!
  • Efficiently load and unload trucks and trailers, supplying production lines with materials and removing waste or finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and product locations.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and promptly report any defects or maintenance needs.
  • Strictly follow all company and regulatory safety procedures (WHMIS, PPE, forklift safety, lockout/tagout, etc.).
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including outdoor yards, warehouses, and loading docks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and truck drivers, and participate in regular training and safety meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in manufacturing, soil, agriculture, or a related industrial environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 25 kg (55lbs) and perform physical tasks in a demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to safety practices.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team, with basic math and record-keeping skills.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime, with exposure to dust, outdoor weather, noise, large equipment, and bulk soil materials.
