Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Breslau, ON. This route runs from Breslau, ON to various site-disposal locations . Cross border into USA (PA, OH, NY, NH, RI, IL, IN, MI) QC - M-F APPRX 55-60 hours a week wage $35.26. PASSPORT REQUIRED.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
• Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class AZ CDL
• Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience
• Minimum 3 months Tanker experience
• TDG and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed)
• Valid Canadian Passport
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
