Our commitment to employee empowerment and engagement ensures that every team member can achieve their full potential in an inclusive and collaborative environment.Job SummaryTo operate equipment and assemble components, in all areas of secondary operation.ResponsibilitiesOperation of secondary equipment. Assembling, sorting, and packing of parts. Part inspection, removing any loose flash and burrs.Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe environment. Removing machine turnings, stacking finished goods, garbage removal. Clean-up work areas, wash station down, clean screens and empty trays.Ability to lift and carry items ranging from minimum (1 lbs) to maximum (30 lbs)Standing for long periods (on their feet for the entire shift except for breaks)Bending (15-20%), kneeling (1%), reaching (15-20%)Repetitive motions (80%)Walking or climbing stairs/ladders (10-15%), only when doing repairs or visiting the supervisor's officeWork EnvironmentExposure to noise (must wear hearing protection on the floor; exposed to high noise levels the entire time while on the floor)Temperature conditions (hot/cold environments); heat break policy is in effect due to the temperatures during the summer monthsEducation, experience and skillsGrade 12 Diploma or equivalentWhy work for Meridian Lightweight Technologies?At Meridian Lightweight Technologies, you'll be part of a team that is shaping the future of lightweight automotive manufacturing.
