Job description
Household Support/Care Giver Worker I am a fully mobile senior looking for a reliable and caring person to provide regular help with household tasks, transportation, and general errands. I do not require personal care, mobility assistance, or specialized medical support. Responsibilities The role may include: • Driving me to grocery stores, medical appointments, and other errands • Assisting with shopping and carrying household items • Helping with all household organization, cleaning and day-to-day tasks • Solving practical problems as they arise • Providing dependable, respectful, and friendly support The Right Person I am looking for someone who is: • Empathetic, compassionate, and considerate • Energetic, enthusiastic, and resourceful • Patient and dependable • Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems • Focused on providing helpful and respectful support • Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality Requirements • A valid driver’s licence • A personal vehicle is not required • The successful applicant will be insured to drive my vehicle • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Ninth Line and Major Mackenzie Drive in Markham • A clean driving record and references are preferred This is a suitable position for someone who enjoys helping others and is looking for meaningful, regular part-time work in a respectful household environment.
