Senior Workday Consultant Multi-Module

Were growing our Workday practice and adding a permanent senior voice to a multi-module mandate spanning across HR payroll finance modules as our client portfolio expands. Youll step into an active fast-moving mandate where your recommendations shape how the client systems actually work with a clear path toward Architect or Lead responsibilities as you grow. Were looking for someone who advises influences and transforms not just someone who configures. Less bureaucracy more impact.

Your day-to-day impact

• Lead requirement-gathering and design workshops directly with client stakeholders translating business needs into sound Workday configuration decisions.
  
• Configure and maintain Workday modules across HR payroll and finance with exposure to additional modules as mandates evolve.
  
• Contribute to integration builds connecting Workday to the clients broader systems ecosystem
  
• Own testing cycles and deployment readiness from unit testing through go-live support.
  
• Act as a trusted advisor to client teams flagging risks early and recommending process improvements not just resolving tickets.
  
• Help grow a multi-platform practice sharing knowledge with junior consultants as the team scales.
  

Requirements

• A consultative mindset: you propose solutions and challenge assumptions rather than simply executing requests.
  
• Confidence leading client workshops and design sessions including with stakeholders who dont speak systems.
  
• Strong analytical skills able to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear functional and system logic.
  
• Clear credible communication that bridges functional and technical audiences.
  

What we also expect (50%)

• Hands-on Workday configuration experience in at least one core module (HR Finance or Payroll)
  
• Experience contributing to integration builds is an asset.
  
• Exposure to other SaaS platforms (Workday Dayforce UKG SuccessFactors) is an asset.
  
• Comfortable working across the full implementation lifecycle from design through deployment.
  
  

Our must-haves

• Bilingual (French/English) spoken and written.
  
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• 3 years of Workday consulting or implementation experience.
  
• Workday Certification in a core module (HR Finance or Payroll) or an equivalent extensive hands-on implementation track record.
  
• The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen permanent resident or valid work permit holder) to be confirmed during the background check.

The profile we are looking for 60% advisor 40% expert What matters most (60%) advisory & delivery leadership : - A natural mediator: you manage client expectations and internal team dynamics with equal skill and you de-escalate without losing momentum. - High emotional intelligence: you read the room adapt your communication style and earn trust quickly with clients consultants and leadership alike. - Comfort with ambiguity: you thrive in fast-moving unstructured environments where priorities shift and you help create structure where there is none. - Demonstrated track record of delivering HRIS or IT projects end to end in an external consulting context managing multiple clients cultures and stakeholder environments simultaneously. - Strong communicator in French and English applied case by case based on client needs. What we also expect (40%) project delivery fundamentals - Solid command of project delivery lifecycle phases mobilization planning design build test deploy hypercare and the ability to keep a team moving through each one. - Experience managing project plans schedules and risk logs across concurrent mandates; enough functional context to ask smart questions and hold delivery teams accountable. - Comfort reading the technical landscape without needing to configure it you dont need to be an HRIS specialist but you understand the environment your team operates in. - PMP/PMI certification an asset. - Workday Engagement Manager certification an asset; may be supported by INNOOVA for the right candidate. Our must-haves : - Have led HRIS Finance or IT projects delivered end to end in an external client-facing consulting context. - Legal authorization to work in Canada. - Availability for occasional travel for client engagements. - Genuine flexibility and adaptability this is a high-growth environment where the pace is real.
