Solution Architect / Tech Lead

Salary: $115,000 - 145,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, including Sales and Customer Service.
• We are looking for experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or senior technical owner in a Dynamics environment.
• We require advanced expertise with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse.
• We need strong hands-on capability with C#/.NET custom plugin development, JavaScript, PowerApps Component Framework (PCF), and Dynamics 365 CE customization and extension patterns.
• We require experience designing enterprise application architectures and API-based integrations.
• We expect a solid understanding of application and data architecture best practices.
• We need experience mentoring or technically guiding software developers.
• We value experience working in complex SaaS ecosystems with multiple integrated business platforms.
• We require the ability to communicate technical solutions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• We require English proficiency.
• A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) background with 5 years of experience is required.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys is an asset.
• Experience integrating Dynamics with CCaaS platforms such as Twilio or Five9 is an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services or Azure Functions is an asset.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• We will own the technical architecture, stability, and long-term evolution of our Dynamics 365 CE platform and supporting application ecosystem.
• We will act as the primary technical advisor to Revenue Technology leadership on architecture, integrations, and technology choices.
• We will design scalable solutions that simplify our technology landscape and favour configurable or buy-over-build approaches where appropriate.
• We will lead architecture across an integrated ecosystem that includes CCaaS platforms, AI-powered customer technologies, data platforms, and third-party applications.
• We will stay hands-on by designing and building solutions, reviewing code, resolving complex technical issues, and promoting engineering best practices.
• We will mentor a team of experienced developers.
• We will establish standards for code quality, consistency, documentation, testing, and maintainability.
• We will translate complex technical concepts, risks, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We will partner closely with Revenue Systems, Product, and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• We will evaluate prospective SaaS platforms and advise on architecture, integration needs, scalability, and long-term supportability.
• We will maintain up-to-date documentation for platform architecture, integrations, and key technical decisions.
• We will help define our AI-assisted software development strategy and drive adoption of modern tools and practices that improve productivity and software quality.

We are building the next generation of our Revenue Technology ecosystem and launching a new Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys environment in August 2026. This is a highly hands-on role with an approximate split of 75% architecture and development and 25% technical leadership. You will take ownership of a heavily customized Phase 1 implementation from our implementation partner and shape its next stage of growth. The position is based in Montréal, QC in a hybrid remote setup.
