Job description
Term of App't: September - December 2026 (96 hours total)Start date: September 2, 2026 (to allow for prep prior to the start of classes)Reporting to: Dean, AcademicsSalary:$50.07 – $56.75/hr, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional 2% on all regular earnings in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay day. Employees in this division have the opportunity to enroll in the College Pension Plan, with contributions matched by the Employer. Description:NLC requires a sessional online instructor to teach the section as indicated below – with course delivery taking place on either the Dawson Creek or Fort St John campus, and videoconferencing to the other campus. MATH 104: - Introduction to Statistics - The course addresses a wide range of issues and questions using statistical techniques such as collection, analysis and interpretation of data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability and probability distributions, sampling and sampling distributions, estimation, statistical hypotheses testing, test of goodness of fit, regression and correlation. Problem solving for business and economics, social and physical sciences, engineering, etc. are used.
