Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: - We require a post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
- We are looking for at least three years of progressive experience in systems administration, network administration, or enterprise IT support.
- Experience supporting student services, non-profit, or higher education settings is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities: - We administer M365 and cloud services, including user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
- We maintain system health, apply patches and software updates, manage enterprise storage, and track the hardware asset lifecycle.
- We oversee routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, while monitoring network traffic and resolving connectivity issues.
- We implement, test, and sustain backup solutions and business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- We provide advanced tier-2/3 support for hardware, software, and network issues through our IT ticketing system.
- We configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- We support retail operations and payment integrations for Square and Armagh POS platforms.
- We create user documentation, best-practice guides, and technical training resources.
- We enforce endpoint protection, access controls, firewall policies, and routine security reviews.
- We assess and govern emerging AI tools to automate workflows, improve reporting, and increase efficiency.
- We help develop security policies, data governance guidelines, and modern technology standards.
- We manage digital signage systems and provide AV and technology support for events, elections, and meetings.
- We assist with IT budgeting, vendor coordination, infrastructure growth, and modernization initiatives.
- We provide after-hours support when critical outages or urgent operational needs arise.
