Title: Senior Coordinator, People and Culture (Maternity Leave Contract)

Reports to: Director, People & Culture

Location: Hybrid, Golf Canada Office (Caledon, ON)

Target Hiring Range: $60,000 to $65,000 (prorated to term)

Status: Maternity Leave Coverage (with possibility of renewal and/or full-time)

Target Start Date: September 2026

End Date: October 2027

Golf Canada is looking for a collaborative, curious, and tech-savvy Senior Coordinator, People Operations to help shape an exceptional employee experience and strengthen our people practices. This role combines core People and Culture support with analytics, systems administration, process improvement, and digital enablement.

This role will support employees and leaders across the full employee lifecycle while helping improve how we work through data, technology, and thoughtful process design. PRIMARY DUTIES People & Culture Operations

Support People and Culture programs across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, performance, and offboarding.

Maintain accurate employee records, policies, and documentation with a strong focus on confidentiality and compliance.

Provide day-to-day guidance to employees and leaders on People and Culture programs and processes.

Coordinate engagement, recognition, learning, and annual People and Culture cycles.

People Analytics & Reporting

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and workforce metrics to support better decision-making.

Analyze people data and trends to identify opportunities to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Translate insights into practical recommendations for leaders and the People and Culture team.

Systems Administration & Digital Enablement

Help administer and optimize People and Culture systems and tools.

Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, data quality, and user experience.

Support the implementation, testing, training, and adoption of new digital solutions.

Process Improvement & Innovation

Recommend and support process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.

Contribute to projects focused on workflow optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Explore practical uses of AI and emerging technologies that support Golf Canada’s priorities.

What You Bring Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

2+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field.

Experience with HRIS platforms, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.

CHRP designation, completed or in progress, is an asset.

Experience in sport, non-profit, or member-based organizations is an asset.

Skills & Strengths

Strong understanding of HR principles and employee lifecycle processes.

Ability to analyze data and turn insights into action.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Experience with HRIS systems, workflow automation tools, and digital collaboration platforms.

Comfort with AI tools and emerging workplace technologies.

Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Annual Salary of $60,000 to $65,000 (prorated to term)

2-week office closure during winter break

Annual bonus (confirmed based on organizational performance)

½ Day Friday's in summer months
