Healing Roots Therapy is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide in-person services within Mississauga, Ontario . We are looking for a dedicated professional passionate about conducting psychoeducational assessments, psychological diagnoses, and providing psychotherapy services to clients.

The Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team at Healing Roots Therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Providing high‑quality psychotherapy services to our clients, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and psychoeducational assessments for individuals aged 17 and up.Providing empathetic, open‑mindful, encouraging and ethical supervision to help the growth and learning of a team of therapists in clinical skills and ethical duties.Demonstrating skills to provide evidence‑based clinical management, assessment and therapy services.Providing in‑person services 3 days a week, 6 hour shifts (we balance these days with practitioners availability and office availability).Supporting 10‑15 clients weekly with psychotherapy services and completing 2‑3 assessments.What we are looking for :
A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counselling, or School Psychology from an accredited program OR a Master’s degree in Psychology with relevant registration.A current license as a Registered Psychologist in Ontario with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). REQUIREDAutonomous practice (without supervision). PREFERRED (If under supervised practice must have an external supervisor)Proficiency in psychological and psychoeducational assessments, (assessments for autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD is considered an asset).Training in evidence‑based interventions and a strong interest in psychotherapy integration.Excellent case conceptualization skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills , with excellent interpersonal abilities.Demonstrated clinical experience , commitment to ethical best practices , and a dedication to ongoing professional development.Flexibility : Ability to be flexible and responsive in delivering services.The following qualities would be considered assets :
Knowledge of cultural diversity, with proficiency in other languages considered an asset.Able to provide clinical supervision to a team of psychotherapists is an asset.Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with adults, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship problems.Administer and interpret psychological assessments to help diagnose mental health conditions.Perform psychoeducational assessments to evaluate learning disabilities, ADHD, and other cognitive or developmental issues in adults.Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and current psychological research.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.Conduct an initial intake with the proposed client, as needed, and assist with client scheduling.What we Offer :
