TON RÔLE

Tu souhaites mettre à profit ton expertise en comptabilité afin d’offrir un soutien essentiel à la direction dans un environnement dynamique et stimulant ? NEUF cherche un technicien comptable pour joindre son équipe à Montréal. Sous la responsabilité du directeur adjoint - comptabilité, tu occuperas un rôle clé dans le maintien de processus comptables efficaces et conformes, soutenant ainsi les activités financières de l’organisation.

TON QUOTIDIEN

Facturation et comptes clients (60%)

• Prendre en charge la facturation des projets assignés, incluant la préparation, la validation et l’envoi des factures aux clients ;
  
• Produire les ébauches de factures en respectant les ententes contractuelles et les recommandations des associés ;
  
• Procéder à l’enregistrement des factures dans le système comptable ;
  
• Effectuer le suivi des paiements reçus, incluant les avances clients ;
  
• Préparer et transmettre les états de comptes ;
  
• Assurer le suivi des comptes à recevoir ;
  
• Répondre aux questions des clients concernant la facturation (courriel et téléphone) ;
  
• Effectuer l’analyse des comptes clients et émettre les notes de crédit au besoin.
  
• Assurer le suivi administratif des contrats et des propositions d’honoraires ;
  
• Veiller à l’exactitude des informations financières liées aux projets.
  

Comptes fournisseurs et dépenses (40%)

• Participer à la gestion des comptes fournisseurs (payables) ;
  
• Comptabiliser les factures fournisseurs ;
  
• Saisir et concilier les dépenses, incluant les comptes de dépenses et cartes de crédit ;
  

Autres responsabilités

• Collaborer avec l’équipe pour assurer le respect des échéanciers financiers ;
  
• Maintenir des dossiers comptables complets et à jour.

YOUR ROLE

Are you looking to leverage your payroll expertise to provide valuable support to management in a dynamic and engaging environment? NEUF is looking for an accounting technician to join its team in Montreal. Reporting to the Assistant Director – Accounting and Operations, you will play a strategic role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all accounting processes.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Billing and Accounting Receivable (60%)

• Handle billing for assigned projects, including preparation, validation, and sending invoices to clients;
  
• Produce draft invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and partners’ recommendations;
  
• Record invoices in the accounting system;
  
• Monitor received payments, including client advances;
  
• Prepare and send account statements;
  
• Follow up on accounts receivable;
  
• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing (email and phone);
  
• Analyze customer accounts and issue credit notes as needed;
  
• Ensure administrative follow-up of contracts and fee proposals;
  
• Ensure accuracy of financial information related to projects.
  

Accounts Payable and Expenses (40%)

• Participate in accounts payable management;
  
• Record supplier invoices;
  
• Enter and reconcile expenses, including expense reports and credit cards.
  

Other Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure financial deadlines are met;
  
• Maintain complete and up-to-date accounting records.
  

Profil

TES COMPÉTENCES

• DEC spécialisé en techniques comptables
  
• 5-7 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire
  
• Expérience en comptabilité par projets
  
• Expérience de travail avec un système ERP comptable intégré
  
• Connaissance du logiciel Dynamics Great Plains (un atout)
  
• Connaissance avancée d’Excel
  
• Autonome et facilité à travailler en équipe
  
• Discrétion, sens de l’organisation et souci du détail
  
• Communique bien tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

• College diploma in accounting or a related field
  
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  
• Proven experience in project-based accounting
  
• Experience working with integrated ERP accounting system
  
• Knowledge of Dynamics Great Plains software is considered an asset
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
