Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Material Handler - Narrow Aisle Forklift for our client in Mississauga, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong material handling and forklift skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, inventory movement, shipping and receiving activities, and material distribution while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | Approximately 12 months

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver materials and retrieve material returns from production and packaging airlock areas
  • Assist with the preparation, assembly, and staging of outbound shipments
  • Repalletize materials for sampling and warehouse storage
  • Move materials from receiving areas to designated warehouse storage locations
  • Prepare and assemble waste materials and controlled destruction shipments
  • Sort and deliver courier shipments and supplies to various departments
  • Offload inbound deliveries and load outbound shipments
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material handling practices
  • Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Identify and report potential hazards and safety concerns
  • Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or logistics operations
  • Narrow aisle forklift experience is required
  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver materials up to 80 lbs
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with WHMIS and workplace safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or distribution environment is considered an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
