Your new role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through topletion. You will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, client relationships, and site operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Working closely with Estimators, Site Foremen, and clients, you will coordinate project planning, monitor financial performance, manage change orders, and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to contribute toplex and impactful projects across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience managing electrical construction projects withinmercial, Institutional or Industrial sectors. You possess strong leadership,munication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects andpeting priorities.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator within the electrical construction industry
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, contracts, and project delivery
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Excellent problem-solving,munication, and financial management skills
- Journeyperson Electrician certification, Electrical Engineering education, or a related construction background considered an asset
- Electrical estimating experience is considered a strong asset, providing valuable insight into project costing, tendering, budgeting, and overall project execution
- Experience using Accubid or similar electrical estimating software would be highly beneficial
