Warehouse and Logistics Specialist

Our client is seeking a full time permanent Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to oversee daily material handling, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. Offering competitive compensation of $23.00 – $25.00 per hour and a reliable Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Logistics Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accurate deliveries.

Order Fulfillment: Accurately prepare, pack, and label outgoing orders for domestic and international transit.

Inventory Integrity: Maintain real-time inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Warehouse Optimization: Organize storage areas to maximize operational efficiency and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Collaboration: Coordinate closely with freight carriers and internal departments to meet critical project deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience: 1–3 years in shipping/receiving or industrial warehouse operations.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital inventory management systems.

Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification preferred (or the ability to obtain one upon hire).

Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and alignment with our mission to provide vendor-neutral energy solutions.

PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

PPE: Willingness and ability to wear required gear (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, and comfortably navigate an active industrial shop floor.

Responsibilities
Manage Incoming Logistics: Inspect, verify, and log all incoming shipments against purchase orders to maintain supply chain accuracy.

Execute Order Fulfillment: Pack, inspect, and label domestic and international orders to ensure timely, error-free shipments.

Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Perform routine cycle counts and update digital records in real time to uphold precise stock levels.

Operate Equipment Safely: Skillfully drive forklifts and maneuver material handling tools to move goods safely across the facility.

Optimize Warehouse Space: Structure storage workflows to improve daily efficiency while keeping the workspace clean, organized, and compliant.

Cross-Departmental Coordination: Partner with shipping carriers and internal teams to streamline logistics and hit project milestones.

Qualifications
Background: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, or industrial warehouse environments.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with digital inventory systems (ERP/WMS).

Certifications: Current Forklift Certification preferred (or willingness to complete certification upon hire).

Core Qualities: Exceptional detail orientation, a collaborative attitude, and a strong commitment to supporting vendor-neutral energy solutions.
