Our valued client is looking for a Snr Business Architect to work on a transformation project

Responsibilities:

• Managing business processes;
• Assisting and guiding the Client through major business changes;
• Developing policies and rules that allow an organization to carry out its mandate and functional responsibilities, and that govern the organization's actual and planned capabilities in terms of computers, data, information, human resources, communication facilities, software and management responsibilities;
• Developing the specifications for where, how and why the various organizational components fit together as they do, and how they support the organization's mandate;
• Overseeing and/or coordinating development of training and coordination with other stakeholders;
• Creating presentations, presenting to various stakeholders, and facilitating meetings and discussions;
• Analyzing and developing business "critical success factors";
• Analyzing and developing architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping and training;
• Leading other functional resources to define business strategy and processes in support of transformation and change management activities;
• Participating in change impact analysis and change management activities; and

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of experience overseeing information management initiatives for large* government or corporate organizations, that involve multi-disciplinary internal teams at various levels within different Branches or Departments and that impacts external industry clients and stakeholders.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Architect in an IM/IT environment
• Experience in transformation projects involving multiple systems (minimum 2 systems) being consolidated into 1 net new system. - A net new system is a newly designed and implemented system built as a new solution (not an enhancement to an existing system), which may replace one or more existing systems by introducing a new platform, architecture, and functionality.
• Must hold one of the following certifications:
• The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certified in Version 8 or higher.
• Business Process Management (BPM) certified
• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC)
• Other relevant Business Architect certification

Nice to Have Skills:

• 5+ years experience in leading teams in the creation or expansion of Business Area Data Models and the development of Information Management Strategies to align with Enterprise Information Management Architecture
• Experience in the last 15 years of the bid closing date in the following:
• Development of Architecture MDM solutions;
• Conceptual Modelling of Master Data;
• Strategies and Plans for MDM data;
• Leading MDM stakeholder working groups; and/or
• Developing MDM data governance instruments
• 4 projects within the last 15 years in making presentations and preparing materials for diverse audiences at all levels in an organization concerning Information Management Initiatives and associated organizational change, including for workshops with business/operations staff, such as in regional offices or those involved with front line delivery of external client services.
