We invest in training, development, and the right tools to help our people grow their skills and advance their careers, while supporting work-life balance along the way.At Golderado, your hard work is valued, your safety comes first, and challenging work leads to real opportunities and long-term rewards.Key Information:Various shifts available depending on project requirementsOvertime may be required during the busy season (April – October)Must be willing to work out of townHourly wage is set in accordance with the applicable union agreementComprehensive benefits package including health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching and vacation payJob Description:Interpret electrical code specificationsRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistanceMaintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactorsTroubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devicesExperience and Certification Requirements:Journeyperson Electrician Certification or equivalent is requiredAt least 2-3 years working as a Journeyperson level Electrician or equivalent experience requiredArial Work Platform Certification (preferred)Fall Arrest/Pro Certification (preferred)H2S Alive (preferred)Confined Space Entry & Monitor with Rescue (preferred)Rigging/Hoisting Certification (preferred)First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred)CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 (required)Able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 KgYou have a safety conscious attitude and are able to work with others in a team.A reliable means of transportation is required.Proficient English language skills required.Education: Journeyperson Certification or equivalent.Go ahead and be yourself.
