• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100, AS13100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and customer specifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage metallurgical engineering, quality improvement, and capital projects from initiation through completion.
• Conduct thorough root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize quality procedures, work instructions, heat treatment processes, and metallurgical specifications.
• Participate in internal, external, customer, and certification audits to ensure full compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Design specialized heat treatment, quench, and straightening fixtures using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Material Review Boards (MRBs), and supplier quality documentation to disposition non-conforming materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Health & Safety to resolve process issues and drive quality metrics.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), APQP, PPAP, customer qualifications, and process validation activities.
• Monitor quality performance KPIs, maintain quality records, and ensure safety compliance under occupational health and safety regulations. Skills

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng., B.Sc.) or DEC in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 + years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, metallurgical engineering, or quality assurance within manufacturing.
• Proven experience working within AS9100, AS13100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP certified environments.
