This position provides leadership for the regional strategy, service delivery, business development, and partner engagement, ensuring CAWST's services effectively strengthen the capacity of local organizations to deliver sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions.

As the leader of CAWST's Asia team, the Senior Manager is accountable for achieving regional goals by developing a high-performing team, building strong client and partner relationships, and successfully implementing annual work plans. Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture by supporting staff development, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and continuous learning to ensure excellence in service delivery.

  • Regional Service Delivery & Program Quality: Oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of WASH training, consulting, mentoring, and technical support services delivered throughout the region. Ensure services are relevant, client-centered, high quality, and adapted to local contexts while achieving regional performance and impact objectives.

  • Training Partners: Strategically lead CAWST's engagement with current Training Partners. Strengthen partner capacity to independently deliver training, consulting, mentoring, and capacity development services while identifying opportunities to expand and deepen regional partnerships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, funders, and sector leaders to strengthen collaboration, elevate CAWST's reputation, and identify opportunities for greater collective impact.

  • Monitoring, Learning & Evidence-Based Decision Making: Champion the collection and use of data to measure reach, effectiveness, and impact. Support regional monitoring, evaluation, learning, and research activities, ensuring insights are used to improve programming, inform decision-making, and contribute to organizational learning.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a key contributor to CAWST's Global Services Leadership Team by collaborating across regions and business units to share best practices, address organizational challenges, leverage expertise, and advance cross-functional initiatives that strengthen CAWST's global impact and effectiveness.
