Job description
We are looking for an experienced Fish Cutter to join our seafood processing team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience cutting, cleaning, filleting, and preparing various types of fish while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

Cut, trim, clean, fillet, and portion various types of fresh and frozen fish.
- Remove bones, scales, skin, and waste efficiently.
- Inspect seafood products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Prepare products according to customer and production specifications.
- Operate knives and fish processing equipment safely.
- Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of seafood products as required.
Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Fish Cutter or Seafood Processor.
- Strong knife skills and experience with filleting various species of fish.
- Knowledge of seafood handling and processing techniques.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated or cold environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
