Job description

Job Title: Backend Java Developer
Job Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and enhance Microservices-based applications following industry best practices.
  • Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate backend services with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Participate in system architecture, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka or other messaging platforms.
  • Implement security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
