Job description
Are you a nurturing, organized, and proactive nanny who loves caring for young children while helping a busy household run smoothly? Our family in Red Deer, Alberta is looking for a caring and dependable Full-Time Nanny & Household Manager to become an important part of our family. We have one young child and are a busy entrepreneurial family operating two growing businesses. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating a calm, organized home environment and is excited to support both childcare and day-to-day household management. This is a live-out, full-time position, generally 35–40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may occasionally vary depending on our family's needs. We offer competitive hourly compensation based on experience. Responsibilities include: * Providing loving, attentive care for our young child. * Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development. * Preparing healthy meals and snacks for our child, as well as assisting with family meal preparation. * Light housekeeping, including tidying, dishes, laundry, toy organization, and maintaining shared living spaces. * Household organization and management, including grocery shopping, running errands, organizing household supplies, and helping keep the home running efficiently. * Occasional pet care as needed. Our ideal candidate is: * Warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about working with children. * Experienced caring for infants or toddlers. * Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate household needs. * Comfortable cooking healthy meals and managing light household responsibilities. * Flexible, dependable, and enjoys supporting a busy family. * CPR certified (required). * Holds a valid driver's licence and has reliable transportation.
