Responsibilities
- Support the overall delivery of commercial, institutional, mixed-use, and high-rise construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, owners, and internal project teams.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Participate in subcontract procurement, contract administration, and scope reviews.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting, billings, and financial reporting.
- Support project safety initiatives alongside site leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
- Assist in tracking project progress while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
Requirements - 5+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager role.
- Experience working for a general contractor is required.
- Experience delivering ICI construction projects valued at $10M-$20M+.
- Background in commercial, institutional, mixed-use, or high-rise construction.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project administration, and financial controls.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Construction-related education is considered an asset.
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project; Viewpoint experience is an asset.
