Job description
Adecco recrute actuellement un(e) Gestionnaire de projets environnementaux à temps plein afin de soutenir la gestion de sites contaminés et de projets de réhabilitation environnementale au sein d'un important réseau de transport. Ce poste convient parfaitement à un professionnel de l'environnement possédant une expérience en évaluation de sites contaminés, en réhabilitation et en gestion des risques environnementaux.

Responsabilités
Gestion des sites contaminés
  • Participer à la mise en œuvre de stratégies visant à réduire les passifs environnementaux associés aux sites contaminés.
  • Soutenir la gestion des sites de déraillement et des projets de réhabilitation à long terme.
  • Appuyer les initiatives de fermeture de sites en veillant à ce que les stratégies de réhabilitation soient techniquement solides et rentables.
  • Réviser les évaluations environnementales, les rapports de réhabilitation et les recommandations des consultants.
  • Évaluer les différentes options de réhabilitation et recommander des solutions adaptées.
Gestion de projets
  • Coordonner les consultants et entrepreneurs environnementaux tout au long du cycle de vie des projets.
  • Préparer les mandats de travail, soutenir les processus d'appels d'offres (RFP) et participer à la sélection des consultants.
  • Assurer le suivi des échéanciers, budgets, livrables et performances des projets.
  • Veiller à la réalisation des projets dans le respect des budgets et des délais approuvés.
  • Maintenir une documentation et des registres de projet précis et à jour.
Conformité environnementale et relations avec les parties prenantes
  • Contribuer à l'élaboration et à la mise à jour de politiques, procédures et normes environnementales.
  • Collaborer avec les organismes réglementaires et les parties prenantes afin de faciliter les approbations environnementales.
  • Participer à des rencontres avec les autorités réglementaires et présenter de l'information technique de façon claire et efficace.
  • Appuyer la préparation de plans de communication destinés aux organismes gouvernementaux, municipalités et autres intervenants.
Gestion des sols excédentaires
  • Fournir un soutien technique concernant les réglementations et les bonnes pratiques de gestion des sols excédentaires.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d'évaluation environnementale et d'opérations terrain pour gérer les sols générés lors des activités de construction et d'entretien.
  • Soutenir le développement d'outils et de procédures visant à réduire les responsabilités environnementales associées à la gestion des sols.
  • Favoriser des solutions innovantes permettant de réduire les coûts, les délais et la production de déchets.
Amélioration continue
  • Veiller à l'exactitude des informations environnementales et des dossiers de projets dans ENFOS.
  • Appuyer les évaluations des risques environnementaux et les initiatives de conformité.
  • Identifier des occasions d'améliorer la performance environnementale, l'efficacité et la durabilité.
Qualifications et compétences
  • Baccalauréat en génie de l'environnement, en géosciences ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Une combinaison équivalente d'études, de formation et d'expérience pourra être considérée.
  • De 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en évaluation de sites contaminés, réhabilitation et gestion des risques environnementaux.
  • Expérience en gestion de consultants et de projets de réhabilitation environnementale.
  • Excellente connaissance de la réglementation environnementale et des processus de fermeture de sites contaminés.
  • Une expérience dans les secteurs du transport, des infrastructures, de l'industrie ou du génie-conseil constitue un atout.
  • Connaissance approfondie des pratiques d'évaluation et de réhabilitation de sites contaminés.
  • Expérience en caractérisation de sites et en évaluation des risques environnementaux.
  • Connaissance des réglementations et des meilleures pratiques liées à la gestion des sols excédentaires.
  • Compréhension des estimations de coûts de réhabilitation et de la gestion budgétaire de projets environnementaux.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint).
  • Expérience avec ENFOS considérée comme un atout.
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) considéré comme un atout.
  • Bonne connaissance des normes de santé, sécurité et environnement.
  • Excellentes capacités d'analyse, de résolution de problèmes et de pensée critique.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en gestion des relations.
  • Solides compétences en gestion de projets et en organisation.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et échéanciers simultanément.
  • Approche collaborative axée sur les parties prenantes.
  • Engagement envers la sécurité, la durabilité et l'excellence opérationnelle.
  • Doit être légalement autorisé à travailler et à résider au Canada.
Ce poste implique des interactions avec des clients et/ou collègues francophones et anglophones. Le bilinguisme est donc considéré comme un atout important.

Responsibilities:
Contaminated Sites Management
  • Support the implementation of environmental liability reduction strategies for contaminated sites across the network
  • Assist in the management of long-term derailment and remediation sites
  • Support site closure initiatives by ensuring remediation strategies are technically defensible and cost-effective
  • Review environmental assessments, remediation reports, and consultant recommendations
  • Evaluate remediation alternatives and recommend practical solutions
Project Management
  • Manage environmental consultants and contractors throughout project lifecycles
  • Develop scopes of work, support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and participate in consultant selection
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall performance
  • Ensure environmental projects are completed on time and within approved budgets
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reporting systems
Environmental Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Support the development and maintenance of environmental policies, procedures, and technical standards
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to facilitate environmental approvals and closure strategies
  • Participate in meetings with regulatory authorities and present technical information clearly and effectively
  • Assist in developing communication plans for regulators, municipalities, and other stakeholders
Excess Soil Management
  • Provide technical guidance regarding excess soil regulations and best practices
  • Partner with Environmental Assessment and Environmental Field Operations teams to manage excess soil generated from construction and maintenance activities
  • Support the development of procedures and tools to minimize environmental liabilities associated with soil management
  • Promote innovative solutions that reduce waste, project timelines, and overall costs
Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure environmental information and project records are accurately maintained within ENFOS
  • Support environmental risk assessments and ongoing compliance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance, efficiency, and sustainability
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and practical experience may be considered
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in contaminated site assessment, remediation, and environmental risk management
  • Experience managing environmental consultants and remediation projects
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and contaminated site closure processes
  • Experience in transportation, infrastructure, industrial, or consulting sectors is considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of contaminated site assessment and remediation practices
  • Experience with environmental risk assessment and site characterization
  • Knowledge of excess soil management regulations and best practices
  • Understanding of remediation cost estimation and environmental project budgeting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ENFOS is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of environmental health and safety standards
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
