Job Summary:

The Intermediate Project Manager/Leader will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, ensuring enterprise-grade production readiness. This role is accountable for driving technical project execution, managing all stakeholders, vendors, and partners, and ensuring compliance with architecture, security, and privacy standards. The successful candidate will deliver a governed, production-ready solution while supporting business owners and maintaining strict accountability boundaries.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive the comprehensive delivery plan through to Iteration 1 production go-live and beyond.
  • Sequence development activities including ETL completion, integration, configuration, UAT/QA, and approvals such as TRA and ARB.
  • Produce and defend realistic, evidence-based project estimates; challenge unsupported timelines.
  • Ensure completion of critical milestones across internal teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Conduct full technical due diligence including architecture artefacts, security and privacy assessments, and enterprise readiness criteria.
  • Ensure solution compliance with Enterprise Technology standards, policies, and data sensitivity requirements.
  • Support Data and Analytics team as business owners while enforcing security and technology standards.
  • Establish a single authoritative source for requirements and user stories.
  • Operationalize RACI matrix and maintain clear accountability boundaries.
  • Lead vendor and partner engagement, managing scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Report status, risks, and decisions clearly to senior leadership.
  • Drive delivery discussions focused on facts, ownership, and resolution timelines.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, training, knowledge transfer, and operational handover.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • 7 10+ years of hands-on technical project management experience with enterprise technology, SaaS, data platform, or complex system implementations.
  • Proven ability to work backwards from target production dates to sequence development, testing, approvals, cutover, and support.
  • Strong skills in producing and defending realistic project estimates and challenging optimistic timelines.
  • Experience implementing or operating Collibra or comparable data intelligence, metadata management, data catalog, data quality, or lineage platforms.
  • Deep understanding of data governance models, stewardship, ownership, and decision rights.
  • Ability to translate business and technical needs into project scope, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, risks, and delivery outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating SaaS platform configuration, integrations, releases, and operational transitions.
  • Strong vendor, stakeholder, and executive communication, facilitation, escalation, and decision management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated, multi-stakeholder environments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Public sector experience preferred.
  • Experience with Threat Risk Assessments (TRA), Architecture Review Board (ARB) gates, and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).
  • Knowledge of enterprise production-readiness criteria and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with operational support models, training coordination, and post-go-live stabilization.
Special Considerations:
  • Role requires strict adherence to technical due diligence and enterprise standards without bypassing governance processes.
  • Must maintain clear accountability boundaries and enforce the agreed RACI matrix.
  • Responsible for managing complex vendor and partner relationships and escalating issues decisively.
  • Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite per week.
Scheduling:
  • Hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite presence required.
  • Standard business hours with potential requirement to manage early-life support phases post go-live.
