As part of the growth of our North American wood division, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the daily scheduling and coordination of truck transportation services for our wood department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for securing carrier capacity, booking trucks, monitoring shipments and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with customers, carriers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule truck transportation for inbound and outbound shipments.

Source and book qualified carriers to meet customer shipping requirements.

Negotiate rates and transportation costs with carriers and brokers.

Monitor shipment status from pickup through delivery and proactively address service issues.

Maintain regular communication with drivers, carriers, customers and warehouse personnel.

Ensure all loads are dispatched accurately and on schedule.

Track and update and internal records.

Resolve transportation delays, delivery exceptions and customer concerns promptly.

Monitor carrier performance and maintain strong carrier relationships.

Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations and safety requirements.

Assist with freight quoting, capacity planning and logistics reporting.

Qualifications College degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred.

  • 1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight brokerage, or supply chain operations preferred.

Strong knowledge of trucking operations, freight terminology, and transportation processes.

Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), load boards, and logistics software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Bilingual (French/English) is essential.

Dans le cadre de la croissance de notre division bois en Amérique du Nord, nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) coordonnateur(trice) de logistique rigoureux(se) et très organisé(e) afin de gérer la planification quotidienne et la coordination des services de transport routier pour notre département du bois.

La personne retenue sera responsable d’assurer la disponibilité des transporteurs, de réserver les camions, de suivre les expéditions et de garantir les livraisons dans les délais prévus, tout en maintenant une excellente communication avec les clients, les transporteurs et les équipes internes.

Principales responsabilités Coordonner et planifier le transport routier des expéditions entrantes et sortantes.

Rechercher et réserver des transporteurs qualifiés afin de répondre aux exigences d’expédition des clients.

Négocier les tarifs et les coûts de transport avec les transporteurs et les courtiers.

Assurer le suivi des expéditions, de l’enlèvement jusqu’à la livraison, et intervenir de façon proactive en cas de problème de service.

Maintenir une communication régulière avec les chauffeurs, les transporteurs, les clients et le personnel d’entrepôt.

Veiller à ce que toutes les cargaisons soient réparties et expédiées avec exactitude et dans les délais prévus.

Effectuer le suivi et la mise à jour des dossiers internes.

Résoudre rapidement les retards de transport, les exceptions de livraison et les préoccupations des clients.

Surveiller la performance des transporteurs et entretenir de solides relations avec ceux-ci.

Veiller au respect des politiques de l’entreprise, des règlements en matière de transport et des normes de sécurité.

Participer à l’établissement des soumissions de transport, à la planification de la capacité et à la production de rapports logistiques.

Qualifications Diplôme d’études collégiales en logistique, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe (un atout).

De 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en transport, logistique, répartition, courtage de fret ou opérations de chaîne d’approvisionnement (un atout).

Excellente connaissance des opérations de transport routier, de la terminologie du fret et des processus de transport.

Expérience avec les systèmes de gestion du transport (TMS), les plateformes de chargement (load boards) et les logiciels de logistique.

Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, particulièrement Excel et Outlook.

Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et capacité à gérer simultanément plusieurs expéditions.

Solides compétences en communication, en négociation et en résolution de problèmes.

Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique et à respecter des échéanciers serrés.

Bilinguisme français-anglais essentiel.
