About the OpportunityService New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst (Healthcare) to support one of Canada's largest healthcare transformation initiatives. The project focuses on transitioning multiple hospital information systems into a unified Clinical Information System (CIS), enabling standardized clinical workflows and integrated healthcare technology across the province.
The successful consultant will collaborate with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, solution architects, vendors, and executive leadership to gather, analyze, validate, document, and implement business and technical requirements for enterprise healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for enterprise healthcare transformation initiatives.
- Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, workflow assessments, and business process analysis.
- Analyze current-state and future-state workflows.
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments.
- Develop functional and technical requirements documentation.
- Create user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, business process models, and solution documentation.
- Work closely with physicians, nursing teams, allied health professionals, laboratory teams, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, operational leaders, and technical SMEs.
- Identify impacted downstream applications and integration dependencies.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal technical teams.
- Support Clinical Information System implementation, optimization, upgrades, migrations, consolidations, and replacement initiatives.
- Develop readiness assessments, cutover plans, configuration workbooks, governance materials, and status reports.
- Maintain project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Support solution design and technical planning activities.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts when required.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications (M1)EducationBachelor's Degree in one of the following:

They will have exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, deep knowledge of Clinical Information Systems, experience collaborating with clinical and technical teams, and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions. Candidates with previous experience supporting New Brunswick healthcare organizations, bilingual communication skills (English/French), and professional certifications such as CBAP or PMP will be highly preferred.
