About the Job
We are looking for an Attendant at our Walker Compost Facility in Thorold ON. Reporting to the Operations Manager for Niagara you are responsible for directing organic waste brought in to the Niagara compost site. This includes ensuring that specific types of waste are dropped off at the appropriate brush piles. The incumbent will also be responsible for some landscaping and general cleaning around the residential brush position involves exercising good judgement and discretion to ensure that waste is diverted properly by visitors and contractors. All work performed shall comply with health and safety and environmental legislation policies and procedures.
What Youll Be Doing
This is a seasonal full-time position. The regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The weekly schedule for this position might be adjusted to Tuesday-Saturday depending on business needs. The hourly wage for this position is $23.16/hour.
