One of Canada's biggest land and home developers has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant — Construction, to join their team of finance professionals in Edmonton.
Your new role
The Senior Accountant – Homes (Construction) plays a critical role in overseeing financial reporting and supporting the accounting life cycle within the residential construction division. This role ensures accurate preparation and first-level review of financial statements, drives timely period-end closings, and performs analytical reviews of financial data. The Senior Accountant collaborates closely with internal teams and Legal to ensure reporting alignment with corporate structures and active project listings. As a senior team member, this role also mentors junior staff and contributes to enhanced reporting through tools like Solver. A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and deep understanding of accounting standards are essential for success.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis
