• What You’ll Be Doing
• The Lumentum OCS System Design & Architecture development team is looking for a new System Architect to grow our team.

The team is responsible for development of Lumentum’s OCS product line, addressing the emerging market in AI / ML datacenter applications.

This is critical role that involves elements of system engineering, technical risk identification and mitigation and actively leading a broad multi-disciplinary team.

This role will have a focus on SW architecture and requirements definition, while participating actively in other aspects of the product development.

You will work closely with functional design teams (HW, SW, FPGA), Verification, Reliability, Project Management, PLM, Operations, and other members of the System Design & Architecture team to successfully develop new products and bring them to production.

The role allows a wide exposure to Lumentum’s internal technology and sub-components and the opportunity to interact with people throughout the company.

Experience in optical networking is preferred but not necessary.
